Our own PHS eSports program has made some major progress these past few years. Recently bringing home a 1st place overall 4A state championship this past season. This year they're also making national news! PHS eSports was recently ranked the 18th best eSports program in the USA, according to USA Today and PlayVs, out of literally thousands of high school programs!! Portales High School was also joined by 3 other NM schools in the top 25, making New Mexico the top performing state in the USA for eSports!
