Portales Schools is STACKING student success this year!!

Portales High BPA is proud to announce the following results from our state leadership conference:

Portales received Gold Level Chapter of Distinction honors.
1st Place/State Champion: Entrepreneurship- Bryn Privett

2nd Place:  
Broadcast News Production Team - Isabelle Romero, Landri Thomas, & Melody Arias

3rd Place:  
Health Research Presentation  - Madi Novak & 

Video Production Team - Edith Ramirez-Soto, Bryn Privett, Lucy Roberts, & Briana Aguilar

4th Place:  

Business Law & Ethics - Oscar Martinez

Statesman Torch Award - Oscar Martinez 

Top 6 Finalists: Prepared Speech - Jonas Lennon & Interview Skills - Evie Williams

Of the 13 students who attended state, 9 will move on to the National Leadership Conference in Nashville, TN in May!! 

We also have two teams who placed top 20 in the nation.  They will compete virtually next week for a chance to move forward to nationals!!
