Due to ongoing hazardous road conditions and icy patches around our campuses, Portales Schools will remain on a Remote Learning Day for Wednesday, January 28. While our maintenance teams across the district are working tirelessly to salt sidewalks and walkways, the freezing temperatures in the evening causes the ice to reform. Especially in the shader areas of our campuses. To prevent slips, falls, and travel accidents, we are prioritizing the safety of our students and staff by staying remote.
