PHS Library

Librarian: Heather Christensen

Assistant Librarian: Amanda Walker

Alexandria (Online Catalog)

Books may be checked out for 2 weeks and may be renewed 2 times, provided no one else has requested them. Overdue charges are $.10 per day, excluding weekends and school holidays. If a student has more than $4 in fines, they will not be allowed to check out books. Student library aides may not accept fines. Only Mrs. Christensen or Mrs. Rosa can accept fines for overdue or damaged books.
Textbooks do not accumulate overdue fines. Students will be charged the full value of the book for any textbooks not returned at the end of the term.
Computers are available for student use whenever the library is open. Students needing computer use for school work have priority over those using for recreational purposes. The research room computers are for class and school work only, and available by reservation.
Current magazines are available for use in the library only. Students and staff may check out past issues of magazines.
